The Association invites applications on prescribed form for Combined Entrance Test for admission to 1st Year M.B.B.S. Course 2014-15 in Katihar Medical College, Katihar, Bihar and Mata Gujri Memorial Medical College & L.S.K Hospital, Kishanganj, Bihar. Katihar Medical College, Katihar and Mata Gujri Memorial Medical College & L.K.S. Hospital Kishanganj are recognized by Medical Council of India & Govt. of India

Eligibility:

Candidates must have passed 10+2/I.Sc. or equivalent examination from a recognized Board, Council or University and must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology & English individually as compulsory/core subject and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology taken together. For candidates belonging to S.C./S.T. or O.B.C. category the minimum qualification marks is 40% and for candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs as defined by MCI, will be minimum of 45% marks taken together in qualifying examination and competitive entrance examination separately. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination may also apply.

Age limit: The candidate must have attained the minimum age of 17 years on or before 31st December'2014.

SEATS AVAILABLE:

Total annual intake : 100

(Out of 100 seats, 60 seats are recognized and for remaining 40 seats renewal of permission u/s 10(A) of IMC Act, 1956 is under process)

ALLOCATION OF SEATS:
Students belonging to Muslim Minority Community 65% Seats
Student belonging to general category 20% Seats
NRI candidates
(If NRI candidates are not available the vacant seats will be filled up by the candidates from the competitive merit list and in that case NRI Fee structure shall be applicable) 		15% Seats
The selected candidates on the requirement of the concerned authority will be bound to give service in this institution after successful completion of their internship as junior resident and he/she shall have to give a bond in this regard at the time of admission.

IDENTITY CARD

All students will have to obtain Identity Card duly signed by the Principal. Every student must carry his/her Identity Card along with him/her and produce the same on demand inside or outside the college.
